עצומה מהבתאללה בן בו אלפצ'ל אבן אלשופט אל משה בן מימון. תיארוך: בקירוב 1180 לספירה, או באופן כללי בין השנים 1168–1204, על פי השנים שבהן פעל הרמב"ם במצרים. השולח מתלונן בעניין חלק מההכנסות של בית אבן פינחס בפוסטאט, אשר הוקצה לו זמן מה קודם לכן. העצומה כתובה בסגנון מליצי ומחמיא במיוחד, ולצד הביטויים המקראיים משולבים בה גם כמה דימויים ייחודיים ומקוריים יותר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Petition from Hibatallāh b. Bū l-Faḍl Ibn al-Shofeṭ to Moshe Maimonides. Dating: ca. 1180 CE or generally 1168–1204, based on the years Maimonides was active in Egypt. The sender complains concerning a part of the revenue of the house of Ibn Pinḥas in Fustat, which had been allocated to him some time before. The petition is written in a very flowery and flattering style, in which besides biblical phrases there are also some more original figures of speech. (Information from Gil, Documents, pp. 325 #79)
