מכתב מישועה בן אסמאעיל בפוסטאט אל ח'לוף בן מוסא בפלרמו. בערבית-יהודית, עם הכתובת בערבית-יהודית ובכתב ערבי כאחד. התיארוך: 8 באפריל 1052. הכותב מתלונן על אבו יוסף יעקב בן אזהר, אשר חייב לו כסף. כמו כן עוסק המכתב בעניינים מסחריים שונים. ישועה פותח ברמיזה למחלותיו הרבות במהלך החורף, אך מדווח כי כעת מצבו טוב (שו' 3–5 בצד הימני). בנוסף, מופיעות שורות רבות בכתב ערבי (מעבר לכתובת), שחלקן כתובות מעל הטקסט בערבית-יהודית. נמצאים גם חשבונות קצרים בערבית-יהודית בכתב יד שונה מזה של המכתב עצמו. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Yeshuʿa b. Ismāʿīl, in Fustat, to Khallūf b. Mūsā, in Palermo. In Judaeo-Arabic, with the address in both Judaeo-Arabic and Arabic script. Dating: 8 April 1052 CE. The writer complains about Abū Yūsuf Yaʿaqov b. Azhar, who owes him money. Also concerning various commercial issues. Yeshuʿa opens with an allusion to his many illnesses this winter, but reports that he is now doing well (r3–5). There are also many lines of Arabic script (apart from the address), some superimposed on the Judaeo-Arabic text.
