מכתב ששלח שמואל בן אהרן מאלכסנדריה אל אבו אסחאק אברהם בן משה בפוסטאט. במכתב מסביר הכותב מדוע לא היה ביכולתו לשלוח את המשי שצבע בזהב, ומוסר דרישות שלום. הכותב אינו טורח לציין את שמו, ככל הנראה משום שכתב ידו היה מוכר היטב לנמען. (המידע מתוך גויטיין, Mediterranean Society, כרך ה')
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter sent from Alexandria by Shemuel b. Aharon to Abu Ishaq Avraham b. Moshe in Fustat, explaining why he could not send the silk which he had dyed with gold, and sending greetings, though without mentioning his own name, probably because his handwriting was known to the recipient.
