רישום משפטי (מס' 58) בפנקס בית דין רבני בקהיר. בעברית. מקום: קהיר. מתוארך לעשור האמצעי של חודש אדר ה'תמ"ג (1683). (מסמך מס' 58) הסכם רכישה של חיטה, שומשום, בדים ואולי סחורות נוספות, בין משה די סוריא לבין האחים יהודה ודוד בן-יקר (סוחרי בדים, המופיעים גם במסמך מס' 23 באותו פנקס בית דין). רישום זה הולך אחר מבנה דומה לזה של הרישום הקודם וחוזר על מילות מפתח רבות שמשמעותן המדויקת אינה ברורה. בקטע העוסק בסחורות הנמכרות לפי אמה (אורך), "לונדרינה" מתייחסת שוב לסוג של בד, ושימוש זה מתועד גם במסמכים מס' 12 ומס' 40 מאותו קטע. המילה החוזרת "כוכייה" עשויה לציין את הצבע "אפרסק" או "שזיף" עבור סוגי בד אחרים. לבסוף, המילה "סאייא" היא ככל הנראה איות שגוי של המילה התורכית-עות'מאנית "صايا" (סאיה), שיש לה מספר משמעויות הקשורות לבד — לצמר, לעורות עליונים של נעליים ולחגורות-מותניים רקומות.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#58) in a court register/pinqas from a Rabbanite beit din in Cairo (on f. 15v of BL OR 6356). In Hebrew. Location: Cairo. Dated in the middle third of Adar 5443 AM, which is 1683 CE. (Document #58) Purchase agreement for wheat, sesame, cloth, and perhaps other goods between Moshe De Suriyya and the brothers Yehuda and David Ben-Yaqar (cloth merchants who also appear in document #23 of the same court register, PGPID 40901). This entry follows a similar structure as the previous one and repeats many of the same keywords whose exact meaning remains unclear. In the section of goods sold by the cubit (length), "Londrina" again refers to a type of cloth, whose usage is also attested in documents #12 and #40 of the same fragment. The repeated word "כוכייה" may signify the color "peach" or "plum" for other types of cloth. Lastly, the word "סאייא" is likely an erratic spelling of the Ottoman Turkish word "صايا" (saya), which has various cloth-related meanings connected to wool, shoe uppers, and embroidered waistcoats (Redhouse, Ottoman Turkish Dictionary, 989).
