טיוטה של מכתב בערבית-יהודית. ככל הנראה נועד להישלח מפוסטאט/קהיר לירושלים. תיארוך: לא ידוע, נרשם בקטלוג כשייך למאה ה-18. הכותב מדווח על הכסף שהיה אצל אחיו (?) של הנמען (karīmak), יעקב חזן, ודודו מצד אמו יהודה רופא. הוא מספר כיצד הנמען נסע לירושלים, משם לאיסטנבול ו"לארצות שמעליה", ולאחר מכן לדמשק שבה נשא אישה, ומשם שב לירושלים. נזכר גם בית הכנסת דאר סמחה בקהיר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter draft in Judaeo-Arabic. Perhaps intended to be sent from Fustat/Cairo to Jerusalem. Dating: Unknown, catalogued as 18th century. The writer reports on the money that was with the addressee's brother (? karīmak) Yaʿaqov Ḥazzan and his maternal uncle Yehuda Rofe. He recounts how the addressee traveled to Jerusalem, then to Istanbul and "the lands above it," then Damascus where he married, then Jerusalem. Also mentions the Dār Simḥa synagogue in Cairo.
